Chesterton WindmillChesterton Windmill is a conspicous landmark in South-East Warwickshire.Chesterton Windmill was built in 1632, and remained in working use until 1910.
The windmill was restored between 1965 and 1971 by Warwickshire County Council.
Chesterton Windmill was probably built for Sir Edward Peyto, owner of Chesterton Manor. It may have been designed by Inigo Jones, or possibly by Sir Edward Payto himself. It isn't certain whether it was originally designed as a windmill, or originally intended as a viewing point.
